Lead Peer Consultant | UW Bothell Writing and Communication Center School | August 2021-Present

·   Lead writing tutor in the Academic Learning Commons at UW Bothell. Directly tutor students in-office and remotely both synchronously and asynchronously.  Given the demographic of the school, a high proportion of our students are English Language Learners. Assist the WaCC director in planning, scheduling, and organizing tutor resources, schedules, and specifically their training.

Summer Program Director | Wilderness Awareness School | June-September 2014-19

·   Seasonal instructor and director for week-long day and overnight Summer Programs, ages 3-17. Job duties included teaching naturalist skills, team-building, shelter-building, fire-making, and cooking in a primitive/survival setting, wildlife tracking, parent communication and supporting logistical needs for program and staff.

OEE Instructor | YMCA Camp Orkila | September-November 2011-12-14

·   Outdoor Environmental Education seasonal instructor for programs. Job duties included teaching and building state-funded OEE curriculum, Synergo-trained management of high-ropes course, facilities maintenance, and mentoring youth ages 10-18.

Deckhand/Guide | Alaska Yacht Charters| April-September 2011-12

·   Naturalist guide and deckhand on a 100’ charter vessel that ran 7-day trips.

Bellingham Food Bank | August 2009 – February 2010

·   Received, stored, cleaned, inventories, and organized food. Assisted Food Bank patrons with collecting and loading groceries.
